Shera assault case: Salman Khan’s bodyguard says he fears for his life
Salman Khan’s bodyguard of over 18 years, Shera, said that the allegations of assault were false and that he was being framed.
Just a week after Salman Khan‘s trusted bodyguard Shera was charged with assault and criminal intimidation, he has filed a complaint with the Juhu police station that he is being threatened by people related to the case and that he fears for his life.
According to the police, Shera’s three-page complaint says that he is being followed by people on two-wheelers and four-wheelers. He has even alleged that some people showed up at his house to threaten him. Shera claimed that the allegations against him are baseless and that he is being falsely implicated.
A senior police officer from the Juhu police station said, “We have received the complaint of Shera and are investigating the matter. We will first verify the facts, gather evidence and then go ahead with the FIR if there is any weight in the claims.”
Last week, an FIR was filed against Shera and three of his bodyguards for assaulting a man and threatening him with a gun. Shera and his bodyguards allegedly broke the man’s collar bone. The DN Nagar police is investigating the case.
